This is what Aragorn sees in Legolas' eyes during the coronation. Btw, the title has nothing to do with the popular song. Is my fic still accepted? Wow, I submitted on the last day… last minute!

Eyes of gray met those of blue. The elf's blue eyes sparkled with joy, yet Aragorn could see, behind them, lay something more.

In Legolas’ eyes, the love they long shared suddenly shone, gentle yet passionate, more than all the forbidden kisses they had shared before.

Legolas tilted his fair head, clearly to gesture at something else. Someone else.

Aragorn saw Arwen. His heart refused, but he took her in his arms and kissed her softly.

Through this, Aragorn stole one more glance at his true beloved’s eyes.

Legolas’ blue eyes still sparkled… yet this time with hidden tears.
